Admissions

Our school complies with Gateshead Local Authority Policy for allocating places.  The normal admission limit for each age group is 29.  Please click link below for further information.

Visits to look around our school are warmly welcomed,  whether you are a new family or an existing one, and appointments can be made by contacting the school office.

The Gateshead Council Primary Admissions web page also features a range of information for parents and a link to the Online Applications service.

The Local Authority has made a commitment that wherever possible, children with physical disabilities will be educated in their local primary school. If shown to be necessary, and is practicable to do so, then minor adaptations to the building will be considered by the school and the Local Authority to enable a child to attend their local school.  In order that children with disabilities are not disadvantaged, the school liaises with the Local Authority when necessary in order to ensure that adequate provision is made.

As part of the induction process, parental meetings are held during the Summer Term and information packs will be sent for pupils about to enrol for Nursery and for Reception classes. During the Autumn Term, Nursery pupils have a preliminary visit. This is followed by attendance on a short session time that is extended to full time over the following weeks.

Depending on the availability of places, we are happy to accept children into Nursery as soon as they attain the age of three.  Please contact the main school office for further information on this.
