In Year 2, our classroom is a welcoming and calm place where everyone can learn, explore and grow. Our walls are filled with helpful vocabulary, key facts and examples of our learning to help us remember important information and develop our knowledge throughout the year. We each have our own peg and tray to keep our belongings organised, and our water bottles are stored in a classroom basket so they are always close by. We love sharing and enjoying a wide range of books together, including stories, non-fiction texts and chapter books. We also have a wellbeing box and a calm corner, which help us to regulate our emotions, share any worries and feel ready to learn.
