Our Year 3 team consists of Miss Forbes, Miss Johnson and Mrs Baker.

Yearly Overview
Over the year, we will study a variety of topics, including The Romans and The Egyptians, The Stone Age, Settlements, Antarctica and Volcanoes. At the Drive, we aim to learn through enquiry using role play, artefacts and enquiry questions to fully immerse children in the subjects they are learning about. Weekly Timetable
Our mornings usually begin with Guided Reading and English, followed by Maths before lunch. In the afternoons, we have two lessons consisting of foundation subjects. We are also given time to catch up on our TTRS and spellings if we need to.
This timetable may change depending on other events in school.
Key Information
We ask that all children come to school equipped with the correct uniform and a water bottle each day.
Our PE days are Wednesday and Friday.
In Summer Term we attend swimming lessons on a Wednesday and children will be required to bring their swimming kit every week.
Children will receive spelling and a reading book each week which should be returned to school on Friday.
