School Uniform
At The Drive, we believe children learn best when they are comfortable, active and ready to participate fully in all aspects of school life. Our uniform reflects our commitment to supporting children's wellbeing, physical development and engagement in learning.
Children should wear;
- Navy school sweatshirt or cardigan
- Sky blue polo shirt
- Plain black tracksuit bottoms, black leggings or black shorts (Nike Pro shorts are not permitted)
- Plain black trainers
Although our uniform is designed to be practical and comfortable, high standards remain important. Please ensure that:
- Bottoms are plain black with no large logos or branding
- Trainers are plain black
- Clothing is suitable for active learning, outdoor play and physical activity throughout the school day
Children may continue to wear:
- Black skirts
- Blue summer dresses
However, we encourage families to consider the active uniform options of tracksuit bottoms, leggings or shorts with trainers, as these allow children to participate more comfortably in outdoor play, active lessons and practical activities.
Physical Education
Children are required to come to school wearing their PE kit on PE days.
Our PE kit consists of:
- House Team T-shirt
- Initialled PE hoodie
- Unbranded black or blue shorts, leggings or tracksuit bottoms
- Trainers
Jewellery
For health and safety reasons:
- Earrings should not be worn
- An inexpensive watch may be worn
- Watches should be removed for PE lessons

My Clothing (Tesco)
We have a value range available from My Clothing which is a lot cheaper and provides good value for money. This can be ordered at the link below. This service also provides all your non-embroidered essentials such as trousers, skirts, pinafores, summer dresses and shoes. You can collect your orders from a local Tesco store for £2 (orders over £30 are free). Alternatively, you can have your orders delivered to your home for £3 and orders will be delivered within 14 days but may arrive earlier.
Please be aware that parents will no longer be able to order uniform directly from school.
