Our school day is reviewed regularly so that we can adapt our provisions to meet the current needs of the children in our school.
In response to the pandemic, there is a high level of emphasis on Wellbeing and Mental Health and PSHE may change as a result of contextual factors. For example, exam stress, friendships, diet and healthy living.
Below you will see a general overview of the structure of our school day for Reception, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. Foundation Subjects and Topic refer to subjects such as: PE, Science, RE, ICT, History, Geography, PSHE/RSE, Art and Design and Design and Technology. Some subjects are not taught in isolation and may be part of a topic (see Parent/Carer Booklets found in Classes).
The children work in both large and small group situations and some will also receive one to one support.
